The Leadership & Education Project
Survey for Principals

The purpose of this project is to examine the relationship between leadership, teacher behaviors, and student performance. To compensate you for your school’s participation in this project, principals will receive a report of how the teachers in their school perceive them, and teachers will receive a report of how their students perceive them. All individual responses from principals, teachers and students will be kept in absolute confidence. Reports will only show responses averaged across multiple participants.

The survey for principals examines personality attributes and organizational factors that we think might affect the chain of impact from school leadership to student learning. You will in no way be evaluated for your answers. Please respond as frankly as possible. There are no right and wrong answers; we are seeking to understand how things seem to you. Please answer every question. To use the space bar or the arrow keys for scrolling, click on the empty space in the survey.
