The tutorials belows have been revised to address VW11 interface and some new features. They have not been field tested yet in the classroom. If errors are discovered, I would greatly appreciate hearing about them.

The tutorials I have written for the course THTR 263 , "VectorWorks Design Studio for Theatre" at Cornell University lead the user through a series of design activities in a theatrical context using the CAD application VectorWorks 11 / Spotlight / Renderworks. Each tutorial is 20 - 30 pages and takes 3 -6 hours to complete.
I am making each tutorial available to the general public for a suggested fee of $5 for the first downloaded copy and a suggested royalty of $3 for each copy made thereafter. I trust if you benefit from my efforts you will thank me by sending a check to the address below:

Each tutorial has been converted to a PDF file that can be viewed on screen or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader 4 or higher available free from ®Adobe. For some tutorials you will need to download files of other types.

For those who downloaded VW11 tutorials prior to March 20, 2005, they have now been updated to fix the many low resolution illustrations.
