Welcome to SeniorSex.org

A Happy Older CoupleWelcome to SeniorSex.org, your older adult sexuality reference. The goal of this site is to help inform you about aging and sexuality, to let you have a little bit of fun, and to make other resources on sex and aging readily available to you.

Aging is a natural part of life, and it happens to us constantly regardless of whether we are "young" or "old". So while some of our sex tips may not currently apply to our younger readers, they should remember that their attitudes about aging can have a very big impact on the rest of their life. Many of our attitudes about aging, along with most other attitudes, are greatly affected by society's influence. Unfortunately, society's influence on older adult sexuality is a negative one [2].

This negative influence is the main force behind the development of negative myths regarding sex and aging. Check out our Myth vs. Fact page to find out how utterly wrong these myths are. The truth is that older adults most often have very satisfying sex lives despite any physiological changes [1]!

There is many a good tune played on an old fiddle. - Old SayingFeel free to take advantage of the interactive areas of this website. The online crossword is a lot of fun and can help gauge your knowledge of older adult sexuality. And the online attitude inventory can test how healthy your attitudes about sex and aging really are.

When you are done checking out SeniorSex.org, take some time to explore some of our external links, or to read some reviews of books about sex and aging. If you don't find what you're looking for online, try contacting one of the organizations listed that may end up being helpful to you.
