Tips on Installing the Textbook on your Computer

Remember to turn OFF all other applications, especially virus-protection software, when installing the textbook on your machine. Also, if after an apparently successful installation the initial splash screen does not appear when you try to launch the textbook, it is likely due to buggy video driver software on your machine. Install the latest release of video driver software from your vendor, or turn OFF video acceleration (under Performance under Extras in the Settings of your Display Control Panel).
