Conclusion

From our view, it is important to have a very cautious screening process to select the right plan of strategic, not only the hoteling but also the others alternative officing, for the right place and right time. The company should think about the training for employees, including how they will use and maintain the system. Security and safety become other issues that the company has to set standards and regulations since the operations will be about spaces and time. A lot of processes need to be revised and adjusted because of the diversity in office space.

Moreover, the changing way of work needs other things to support. Such as most companies still provide some individually assigned space for quiet work and two-person meetings, sometimes in closed offices but more often in partitioned cubicles.

While the concept makes perfect sense for many organizations, space still equals status and as a result, is a hard thing to let go. Not everyone will love this idea of not having the same office to sit in, or the same chair. We should also be sensitive to this sentiment to gain the most effectiveness strategic plan for the organizations.
