Wallace and Gromit

Go Dancing!

Introduction:

Wallace and Gromit are sitting around one day when Wallace gets bored. He decides that he wants to go dancing in order to alleviate his boredom. However, before going clubbing, Gromit feels he needs a couple of drinks to loosen up. After quickly downing a bottle of Jagermeister, Gromit feels he is ready. Unfortunately Wallace doesn’t have a clue what he wants to dance. Gromit feels he can help and shows Wallace a few moves, including a Russian dance, the dance from "Saturday Night Fever", and some really pathetic break dancing. Wallace is not impressed by Gromit’s dancing. Then in a flash, both of them think of the perfect dance, he Macarena.

Wallace:

Gromit:

All character movements were done using forward kinematics.

Each Wallace and Gromit have three degrees of motion in their necks, and both elbows and shoulders, and two degrees of motion in both of their legs. Gromit also has one degree of motion in both of his knees.

Scenes

  1. Wallace and Gromit are sitting on the couch when Wallace decides he wants to go dancing.
  2. Wallace and Gromit go to a bar before dancing. The background is a gif image of a bar.
  3. In this scene Gromit dances a Russian dance. The background is a gif image of a dance floor.
  4. Back at the bar, Wallace shakes his head in disappointment of Gromit’s dance.
  5. Gromit tries to do the dance from Saturday Night Fever.
  6. Same as scene 4.
  7. Gromit pathetically attempts to break dance.
  8. Wallace and Gromit realize what they want to dance.
  9. Wallace and Gromit dance the macarena.
