BioNB 440: Homework 3

  1. For the circuit shown below, derive the gain of the circuit with the switch in the up and down positions. Assume that the opamp is connected to all the appropriate power supplies.
  2. The fourth circuit shown in the schematic for Lab 3 is a high pass filter. Derive the cutoff frequency. As drawn, the positive input of the opamp goes to ground. If the positive input instead was set at a voltage, Voffset, show that the output will be shifted by Voffset.
  3. Design a bandpass filter which:
    1. Uses one opamp
    2. Has a lowpass cutoff of 3000 Hz.
    3. Has a highpass cutoff of 300 Hz.
