Dawn
Vail is new to the Department of Applied Economics and Management.
She holds a B.A. in English and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh.
After graduation in 1995, she focused her attention on the agricultural
community and served as a Migrant Coordinator for the Migrant Education
Outreach Program at SUNY, bridging the gap between schools, community
organizations, and the children of frequently moving farm families.
She came to Cornell in 1998, working in Client Services at the Companion
Animal Hospital where she had a strong role with the clinical students.
Previously, she served as Course Administrator for AEM 240-Marketing,
AEM 241-Marketing Plan and Development, and AEM 344-Consumer Behavior.
In
her spare time, Dawn enjoys reading, skiing, hockey, and spending
time with her husband and 3 children, ages 9, 2, and 6mos. She is
looking forward to working with the students of AEM 220.
