This website is devoted to the ongoing work of the Minority, Indigenous, and Third World Studies (MITWS) research group and of FMS at Cornell, which is affiliated with the Future of Minority Studies (FMS) international research project. MITWS originated in the mid-1980s as a faculty caucus in the English Department. It is now a research group that includes faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates in the humanities from various departments in the College of Arts and Sciences.
