English 208 owes much to Walter Cohen of Comparative Literature and Barbara Correll of English, who first taught it, and to the English Curriculum Committee cabal (Laura Brown, Stephanie Vaughn, Stuart Davis) who conspired to get the course approved in the first place. Its development owes much, too, to the graduate student instructors who have taught in it: Nick Davis, Joe Campana, Will Smith, Dawn Lonsinger, Douglas McQueen-Thompson, Angela Naimou, and Danielle Haque. It would not long endure without the administrative support of Darlene Flint and Marianne Marsh.
